As owner and president of Compass Mobility, Ottie Voegerl brings nearly a decade of experience in home modifications and accessible living, with over 8 of those years as the Director of Home Accessibility for HLS Health and Wellness, previously of Jasper, Indiana. As a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and Certified Environmental Access Consultant (CEAC), Ottie is skilled in providing solutions for homeowners to age in the homes they love.

Ottie began his career as a journeyman plumber and specializes in fitting clients with the right bathroom modalities to suit individual needs. He has also completed special coursework in stairlift installation and maintenance and has completed hundreds of installations. Additionally, Ottie carries years of experience in outdoor ramping solutions for both short and long-term needs. Ottie serves clients in central and southern Indiana, southeastern Illinois, and Kentucky.

The CEAC certification was created to address disparities in training and practices within the field of environmental access needs for aging and disabled individuals. The certification indicates formal education and credibility and is administered by VGM Live at Home.
